Een paar feiten: er zijn zo&#8217;n acht \u00e0 negen miljoen besmetten in Europa. Die weten dat niet allemaal, want je merkt van &#8216;C&#8217; pas iets als je lever aangetast wordt. Intussen blijf je wel besmettelijk, en in hoge mate, ook via b.v. tandenborstels &amp; snuifbuizen, ook als die lang niet meer gebruikt zijn. Er zijn wel vorderingen gemaakt in de behandelingsmogelijkheden, maar het blijft een lichamelijk en dus ook geestelijk zwaar traject, van twaalf tot achtenveertig weken lang.
