Hij leefde al jaren ondergedoken als strijder van de Hezbollah omdat hij betrokken zou zijn bij verschillende aanslagen. Afgelopen donderdag werd hij in Beiroet begraven. Dezelfde dag werd ook de moord op <strong><em>Rafik Hariri<\/em><\/strong> herdacht in Beiroet. <em><strong>Bart Peeters<\/strong><\/em> van <a href=\"http:\/\/redactie.radiocentraal.be\/Home\/wp-admin\/www.middno.wordpress.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">In the Middle of the East<\/a> licht toe vanuit Libanon. Van hem horen we ook dat de Hezbollah inmiddels zo&#8217;n 50.000 strijders aan de grens met Isra\u00ebl verzamelt. Ook de Isra\u00ebli&#8217;s zouden aanvalsplannen hebben klaarliggen zo gaat het gerucht.
